Hello! I’m Maria Dowd a professional and dedicated tutor passionate about helping students succeed academically, improve their English, and gain confidence in conversation. I hold a TEFL qualification and a Master’s degree in Education, which gives me a strong foundation in teaching methods, curriculum design, and effective learning strategies.

I have hands-on experience as an elementary education teacher, where I develop engaging lessons, support different learning styles, and help students build strong literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills. This experience allows me to tailor lessons to each student’s level, goals, and interests.
